    Bottom and its counterpart Top, unlike the other terms, refer less to a person's basic character traits than to his or her role during a game: someone who is by nature more active or dominating, predisposed/interested, may still appear as Bottom in a game. The term is also used to express a preference for a particular role. Since Bottom has less historical/medical baggage attached to it, it belongs here to the naming conventions.
